• Shigeyuki Takemura was born in Hyogo Prefecture, Japan in 1950.　 In 1975, he graduated from the faculty of Economics at Kobe University, and in the same year joined All Nippon Airways Co., Ltd. (ANA).
• Takemura spent six years at ANA’s Washington DC office as a Sales Manager from 1993 to 1999. On his return to Japan, he was promoted to Director where he was responsible for Purchasing and Facilities.
• After seven years’ service as Director and then Senior Vice President, Government & Industrial Affairs, Takemura has assumed the position of Executive Vice President at ANA in 2008.
• He was appointed as Senior Executive Vice-President, Government & Industrial Affairs, Strategic Planning -Asia Pacific, Airport & Facilities Planning at ANA Holdings Inc. in 2013.
• He served as Executive Special Advisory to the Board at ANA Holdings Inc. from 2017 to 2021.
